THE CAMPING GUIDE

Camping at Tulabi Falls.

Find Tulabi Falls campground and yurt resources, then organize the details that make a weekend easier.

Campsites and yurts at Tulabi Falls.

The provincial campground brochure lists 17 basic campsites, 19 electrical campsites, and six yurts. The campground is on Bird Lake beside Tulabi Falls. Use the official campground map to compare the layout before choosing your accommodation.

Those published counts describe the campground, not bookable inventory for a particular date. Confirm what is available through Manitoba Parks before committing to your travel plans.

Book through Manitoba Parks.

Use the Manitoba Parks reservation service for booking information and access to the official reservation system. TulabiFalls.com does not take reservations or collect campground payments.

Before booking, make a short list of your dates, party size, equipment needs, and preferred accommodation. Check the site or yurt details in the booking system rather than assuming every option has the same facilities.

How do you reserve a campsite or yurt?

  1. Open the official booking system. Go to Manitoba Parks online reservations and look for Tulabi Falls in Nopiming Provincial Park.
  2. Choose your dates and accommodation. Compare campsite or yurt descriptions, photos, and equipment limits before selecting.
  3. Review the full cost. Check nightly charges, reservation fees, and cancellation terms before paying.
  4. Save your confirmation. Keep arrival instructions and the campground map available for your trip.

You can also book by calling 1-888-482-2267. Online yurt reservations require at least two nights; ask the call centre about single nights left between bookings. Check the current reservation policies for details.

Camping dates and costs.

The 2026 operating schedule lists Tulabi Falls campsites, group use, and yurts open May 15–October 12, with reservations available through October 11. Dates depend on weather, and services may be limited after Labour Day.

Nightly campsite prices depend on the site and services selected. The provincial fee schedule currently lists yurts at $72.80 per night and a $10 reservation fee. Confirm the total in the booking system. A park vehicle permit is separate.

Which facilities suit your group?

The brochure lists 17 basic sites, 19 electrical sites, and six yurts. Its map identifies accessible yurts 1, 5, and 6, and pet-friendly yurts 1 and 5. Confirm those features in the current listing before booking. The map also helps you compare your accommodation’s position with the beach, falls, and other facilities.

Electrical service is not the same as a full-service hookup. Check the individual campsite listing for the connections, equipment size, and amenities you need.

Check the type of camping you mean.

The main campground and walk-in backcountry sites are separate options. Manitoba Parks’ July 30, 2026 recovery notice lists the campground as open and the Tulabi Falls walk-in sites as closed. This is a dated notice; check the latest park update for your actual travel dates.

A practical packing plan.

  • Reservation details: save the confirmation, arrival information, and relevant maps.
  • Sleeping and shelter: plan for the accommodation you booked and the weather forecast.
  • Meals: organize food, drinking water, cooking supplies, and secure storage.
  • Clothing: bring layers, rain protection, and footwear for your intended outings.
  • The campsite: pack lighting and a way to collect and remove litter.
  • The day out: keep a small bag ready for the falls and other confirmed stops.

Keep wildlife out of your food.

The campground brochure asks campers to secure food and other attractants, avoid feeding wildlife, and keep dogs leashed. Review the full campground guidance and the instructions at your site when you arrive.

Check fire restrictions before planning a campfire. Use official notices for current conditions, and make your meal plan flexible enough to work if your preferred cooking arrangements are unavailable.

Plan one good outing at a time.

Start with the falls and the area around your campground. For additional activities, use the park resources to confirm access and choose an outing that suits your group. Our visitor guide brings the road and park links together.
